These are the most useful messages we receive. Our tools publish specific numbers — benefit thresholds, tax credit amounts, interest costs — and the rules behind them change every year. If a figure looks wrong, we want to know.

Telling us which calculator, what you entered, and what you expected instead is usually enough for us to reproduce it straight away. A link to the official source you are working from helps even more.

A calculator that won't calculate, a result that looks impossible, a page that reads wrong on your phone — send it over. Mentioning your browser and whether you were on a phone or a computer helps us narrow it down.

If you are working through a money problem and there is no tool here for it, tell us. Requests that describe the actual decision you are trying to make are far more useful than a title alone — the decision is what determines whether a calculator can genuinely help.

For partnership, syndication or advertising enquiries, use the same address and say what you have in mind.

There is no account to delete and nothing held on a server — every calculation runs in your browser, and anything you save stays on your device. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored and how to clear it, and there is nothing for us to erase on request because we never receive it.

We can't give personal financial, tax or legal advice, and we can't tell you whether you will be approved for a benefit. Our calculators are estimates built on published rules; only the agency administering a program can make a determination. For free one-to-one help, a local HUD-approved housing counsellor, a VITA tax site, or your state's benefits office are good starting points.
